Travel has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents gave my brother and I the very best experiences that they could afford, and yearly family beach trips were to be counted on each summer. I grew up in Asheville, NC and therefore I had the best of both worlds- the short drive to the beach and the close proximity of the mountains gave me an incredible opportunity to travel to a plethora of nearby vacation spots! Before high school I had already traveled all the way up to Maine, all the way down to Florida, and all the way west to California. During high school I also traveled to Canada and Mexico.

 

In college I was able to live abroad in southern Italy. This experience truly broadened my horizons and gave me an opportunity to explore a culture other than the North American experiences which I had had up to that point. After college I began working as a high school teacher but I never lost my love of travel. My husband and I make traveling a priority and we enjoy giving the gift of travel to our children now, too. While teaching I have also been able to plan several regional and international field trips to everywhere from Disney World to Rome!

 

Our favorite vacation spots are Charleston, SC; Gatlinburg, TN; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Orlando, FL; and Rome, Italy. I am excited to bring the gift of travel to others. My attention to detail, desire to provide magical memories, and determination to be financially-respectful all combine to help me to be the best travel agent I can possibly be.
