Hurricane Policies for Your Favorite Vacation Destinations
As we prepare for our vacations, we excitedly start packing our bags and anxiously checking the weather predictions. If our vacation plans include Orlando or Port Canaveral, hurricanes can sometimes be included in that weather prediction.
Travelmation agents want our clients to feel comfortable and confident in their travel choices, so we’ve gathered the hurricane policies of the most popular vacation destinations in one place.
Walt Disney World guests may reschedule or cancel their vacations with no penalty if the National Hurricane Center issues a hurricane warning for either Orlando or the guest’s hometown within 7 days of their arrival. WDW Hurricane Policy: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/hurricane-policy/
Disney Cruise Line will notify scheduled guests through either the DCL site or the Navigator app if itineraries must be adjusted.
Royal Caribbean will post necessary itinerary changes on their website.
